The 24th edition of the most cherished spy-espionage James Bond franchise, Spectre, is all set to strike the Indian box-office this Friday, the 20th of November. There are of course many paid previews around the country starting from tomorrow evening (19/11).
Spectre was released in the UK and few other countries on the 26th of October and in the USA on the 6th of November. The reviews around the globe seem to be pretty middling. Ex-007 Pierce Brosnan, who enjoys a good fan base in India too, came down hard on Spectre after having watched the film recently.
This is apparently what the 62 year old had to comment on Spectre:
“I was looking forward to [Spectre] enormously. The story was kind of weak—it could have been condensed. It kind of went on too long. It really did. [Spectre] is neither fish nor fowl. It’s neither Bond nor Bourne. Am I in a Bond movie? Not in a Bond movie? But Daniel, in the fourth go-round, has ownership of it. He had a nice looseness to him. He’s a mighty warrior, and I think he found a great sense of himself in this one with the one-liners and a nice playfulness there.”
