''WHY GIVE DIWALI GOODIES TO ARTISTS LIKE KAMAL AND RAJINI?''

The recently elected Nadigar Sangam had informed that they would be giving dhoti/saree and a box of sweets as part of Diwali goodies to every member of the Sangam, including Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan. It was also stated that the gift would be home-delivered.

Although this idea sounds good and spreads goodwill and cheer, senior artist and brother of Kamal Haasan, Charu Haasan has expressed his opinion on the same in his social media page. He says,

“My wishes to those who have taken charge as new office bearers in the Nadigar Sangam. I am expressing my humble dissent on giving goodies to everyone including Kamal and Rajini, by the Nadigar Sangam. Instead, it would be nice if that money can be used by the current office bearers to help the marginalized artists belonging to the Sangam”.

A sensible and nice request indeed! Will the Sangam give heed? Let’s see!
