TN plans air travel from Chennai to Salem, Puducherry and Neyveli

The transport department of TamilNadu will be developing an air transport system facilitating air travel from Salem, Puducherry and Neyveli to Chennai under Regional Transport Scheme. The auction bids have been finalised in Neyveli and Puducherry. Operations are likely to begin by the end of October.
