Dinesh Karthik (DK) was picked by Delhi Daredevils in 2008 who remained in the team for the next two seasons. In 2011, he was bought by KXIP for a whopping $900,000. Later in 2012, Mumbai Indians bought him for $2.35 million and retained until 2013.
Delhi bought him again in 2014 for a huge sum of 10.5 crores and RCB cracked a deal for 12.5 crores in 2015.
Karthik was pulled in by Gujarat Lions in 2016 who retained him in 2017 as well. In 2018, KKR bought him for 7.4Cr and appointed as the skipper of the team. Apparently he was retained in the 2019 auction. Overall, DK was picked 6 times in the history of IPL Auctions.
