Though Kalaria had never been a part of IPL, he has ruled this year's Vijay Hazare trophy with 21 wickets out of 11 matches he had played for Gujarat.

Kalaria maintained an average of 16.52 and picked a wicket every 25 deliveries in the tournament.  He is the 3rd highest wicket-taker in the tournament.

Interestingly, Kalaria was a part of Under-19 world cup winning team in 2012. The left-arm fast bowler might likely get an opportunity to make his IPL debut through the upcoming auction.
