Why?

Comparing both teams, Chennai Super Kings seems to have a stronger batting side. Mumbai Indians will be dependent on Rohit Sharma and Kevin Lewis for their batting firepower, and Kevin's lack of experience in the pitches of the Indian subcontinent leaves a doubt as to how well he will adapt from the first match.

Mumbai have more uncapped players as well, whose performances we will have to wait and watch.

In the bowling department, Mumbai's spinners lack the depth that Chennai has. Mumbai does have a stronger pace attack, so that will be a test for CSK.

Even though CSK has a better side on paper, given the current form of their players, they need to click right from the start to cement a solid total as well as possibly defend a good target.
