Director Bas Mohammed's Lukka Chuppi has been selected in the Panorama section of the International Film Festival of India (IFFI). Actor Jayasurya announced this news on his social networking page, "Have a happy news to tell. Lukka Chuppi is selected for Indian Panorama (sic)."
Written by Gafoor Arackal, the movie narrates the story of a group of collegemates who meet up again after several years with their wives, which leads to certain curious incidents to happen amongst them. The film stars Jayasurya and Murali Gopy as the lead characters, and was earlier in the news for building a glass set and shot using sync sound by Oscar winner Resul Pookutty.
Apart from Lukka Chuppi, Jayaraj's Ottaal, Sidharth Siva's Ain and Dr Biju's Valiya Chirakulla Pakshikal are the other Malayalam feature films to be screened at the film festival.
