Mahesh Babu's speech about AR Murugadoss at Spyder pre-release event that took place in Hyderabad today.

"It is a proud moment for entire Spyder team; we waited one and a half years for this day. Firstly I need to talk about AR Murugadoss 'garu.' I met him several years before while doing Pokkiri. Since then, we have been discussing to make a film, but it didn't happen. But finally, after all these years, we could team up for a Sypder. I am a big fan of his stories and screenplay pattern.

I am lucky to work with him. When he came to my house to narrate Spyder's story, he told me that the audience would get stunned while watching the film. Not just the audience, even I got stunned while dubbing for it.

It is not a joke to make bilingual. In my opinion, no one has still made a proper bilingual to date. It is like shooting one film twice. Even directors with several years of experience find it hard to pull off a bilingual as they need the energy to maintain a huge team. Hats off to AR Murugadoss for keeping the energy of the sets intact for 1 and a half years."
