Vijay Sethupathi starrer Karuppan, directed by Paneerselvam of Renigunta fame has Tanya playing the female lead. The film is now censored with a clean ‘U’ certificate. Vijay Sethupathi's previous film Puriyaatha Puthir was also certified with a U certificate.

The film is expected to release on September 29th for the Dushera weekend along with Spyder and Hara Hara Mahadevaki. We would have to wait for an official announcement from the team regarding the film's release date.
