We had reported earlier today that, TFPC has proposed a new set of guidelines for theatres to operate in Tamil Nadu. These rules, if brought into force, might not be well received by the theatre owners of Tamil Nadu. Talking to us about these new set of guidelines is Nikilesh Surya of Rohini Silver Screens. He said:

"Theatre owners' community is ready to work with the government and whoever works for the benefit of the industry. We will never succumb to anybody who is trying to intimidate us or assert control and authority over us. Ours is a private business and no producer has any right to dictate terms of service. TFPC's latest statement can only be taken as an emotional outburst and an unacceptable idea. We can't take this seriously.”
