Actor Prem, who gave an impactful performance through his character Simon, in Vikram Vedha, recently had an interaction with Behindwoods, where he discussed about his shooting experiences with Madhavan, Vijay Sethupathi, working under legendary director K. Balachander, and also about his television days.


"I was jobless for about five to six months and didn't know what to do. That is when I got a call from a TV channel asking me to participate in Jodi No.1, their dance reality show. I instantly started to laugh and told them I don't have any connection with dance. But they told me that they would give money for every round, and I found it interesting. That too, I was in a bad state during that time, and hence I decided to take it up. We somehow cleared the first round and got the 'Best Dancers' award in the second round. If it is Bigg Boss now, it was Jodi No. 1 then.
 

So whenever we went outside, the public started to notice us. They would come and congratulate us. That is when I understood the reality, and it evoked a little amount of scare me. This made me realise the seriousness, and I started to practice seriously from morning 10 AM till night 10 PM. Everyone was addressing me through my character names, but only after Jodi No.1, my real name Prem and my real identity was known to the public.", Prem said,
